Installation Steps #
1
Download the Installer #
Go to radiodepot.co.uk/support and click Download Software, or visit your order confirmation email and click the download link. Save the installer file (RadioDepotSetup.exe) to your Downloads folder.
2
Run the Installer #
Double-click RadioDepotSetup.exe to launch the installer. Windows may show a User Account Control prompt asking “Do you want to allow this app to make changes to your device?” — click Yes to continue.
If Windows Defender SmartScreen shows a warning, click More info then Run anyway. This happens because the installer is freshly signed and not yet widely recognised by Microsoft.
3
Follow the Setup Wizard #
The setup wizard will open. Click Next through the screens, accepting the licence agreement. Unless you have a specific reason to change it, leave the installation folder as the default (C:\Program Files\Radio Depot\) and click Install.
4
Wait for Installation to Complete #
The installer will copy files and create a desktop shortcut. This takes around 30–60 seconds. When complete, you will see an “Installation Successful” screen. Click Finish.
5
Launch Radio Depot #
Double-click the Radio Depot shortcut on your desktop, or find it in the Start menu. The application will open and prompt you to enter a licence key.
6
Enter Your Licence Key #
Go to Settings → Licence inside Radio Depot. Paste or type the licence key from your purchase confirmation email and click Activate. An internet connection is required for this step. Once activated, the full application will unlock immediately.
✅ Your licence key was sent to the email address you used at checkout. Check your spam folder if you can’t find it. You can also view and copy your key at any time by logging into the portal at portal.radiodepot.co.uk.
7
Complete Initial Setup #
On first launch, Radio Depot will guide you through creating your first department and importing or adding your radio fleet. You can also import users from an Excel spreadsheet via Users → Import.
