# Auto-Scan Mode

### What it does

**Auto-Scan** enables automatic lookup as soon as a scan is detected (useful at busy desks or when radios are placed on a reader pad).

### How to use it

1. Go to **Check Out**.
2. Toggle **Auto-Scan** on (the button turns green when active).
3. Scan a radio — lookup happens automatically.
4. (NOTE: The autoscan feature works only with RFiD readers that are connected to the system, if not connected it will be grayed out).
